Additional considerations

  • Publish & test
After publishing, open your site in an incognito/private window (or clear cache) and verify the widget appears and functions.

  • Multiple properties/multiple websites
If you manage more than one website, generate and use the widget code for the correct property. Each property has its own widget code. Verify the property name on your dashboard before copying the code.

  • Content Security Policy (CSP)
If your site enforces CSP headers, a strict policy can block third-party scripts. If the widget doesn’t appear after installing the code, check your browser console for CSP errors and whitelist tawk.to domains and script sources in your CSP configuration.
