Adding a tawk.to widget to Squarespace

The instructions below are for desktops and laptops only.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to add the tawk.to chat widget to Squarespace.

First, get your widget code

Follow these steps to copy your widget code:

1. Log in to your tawk.to account.

2. On your dashboard, select the property for which you want the widget code. Hover over the property name to ensure you’ve selected the correct one.

3. Click the gear icon on the top menu to go to the Administration panel.

4. On the Administration menu, select Chat Widget under Channels.

5. Copy the code in the Widget Code field.

Paste your widget code in Squarespace

Follow these steps to add your widget code in Squarespace:

1. After logging in to Squarespace, click Pages under Website.

2. Click Website Tools under Utilities.

3. Click Code Injection.

4. Scroll down to Footer and paste your Widget Code here.

5. Click Save at the upper-left corner of the page.

6. Your widget should now appear on your site.
