Where can I find the property and widget IDs?

When setting up integrations, automations or advanced customizations in your tawk.to account, you may need to enter your property and/or widget ID.

Here’s where you can find your property and widget IDs:

Property ID

If you have multiple properties, check to make sure you’re viewing the correct one by hovering over the hamburger icon at the top of the Dashboard.

To find your property ID, make your way to Dashboard ➞ ⚙️Administration Overview Property ID.

Widget ID

To find your widget ID, go to Dashboard ➞ ⚙️Administration Chat Widget.

If the property you have selected has more than one widget, select the widget you want to use in the drop-down menu at the top of the Chat Widget panel. 

Under Direct Chat Link, the widget ID is the last segment of the path and follows the property ID.

In the example below, the property ID is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and the widget ID is 123456789.

That’s it — you are now ready to customize your tawk.to account to match the look and feel of your website.
