Where can I find the property and widget IDs?
The instructions below are for desktops and laptops only.
You may need your property and widget IDs when customizing your chat widget or setting up automation and API integrations on your tawk.to dashboard.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to get your property and chat widget IDs.
Follow these steps to get your property ID:
1. Log in to your tawk.to account.
2. On your dashboard, select the property for which you want the ID. Hover over the property name to ensure you’ve selected the correct one.
3. Click the gear icon on the top menu to go to the Administration panel.
4. In Overview, your Property ID is below the Property Image.
Follow these steps to get your widget ID:
1. Log in to your tawk.to account.
2. On your dashboard, select the property for which you want the ID. Hover over the property name to ensure you’ve selected the correct one.
3. Click the gear icon on the top menu to go to the Administration panel.
4. Go to Channels > Chat Widget.
5. Your Widget ID is under the Widget Status.
