Why am I not getting notifications?
The instructions below are for desktops and laptops only.
If you’re not seeing desktop notifications from your tawk.to Dashboard, it’s usually due to a settings issue in your browser, the Dashboard, or your computer. This article walks you through the most common causes and fixes so you get alerts when visitors start chats or submit tickets.
Enable desktop notifications in the tawk.to Dashboard
1. Click your Profile image in the lower-left corner of the Dashboard.

2. Turn on Desktop notifications.

3. If you previously turned off specific alerts (such as new visitors or missed chat notices), click Manage Sounds & Notifications and review these settings to ensure nothing essential is disabled.
Tip: You may have to re-log in to your tawk.to Dashboard for the changes to take effect.
