How to change your property image

The instructions below are for desktops and laptops only.

A property can be thought of as a business unit in your tawk.to dashboard. Each property can have chat widgets, a Knowledge Base, and a chat page. You can create unlimited properties at no additional cost and the data of each property is isolated from each other.

Your property image is the image assigned to your property. The default property image is the first letter of the property’s name against a solid-colored background.

If you have several properties, you can customize your property image by adding your business logo to differentiate it from other properties on your tawk.to dashboard.

You can also have your logo appear in the chat widget. Consistent branding helps customers identify your company easily. Learn more about adding your logo to the chat widget here.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to change your property image.

2. On your dashboard, select the property for which you want to change the image. Hover over the property name to ensure you’ve selected the correct one.

3. Click the gear icon on the top menu to go to the Administration panel.

4. In Overview, click the button with the 3 dots under Property Image and select Upload Image.

5. Choose an image from your computer. We recommend an image that’s at least 512x512 pixels.

6. Click Save.

You can change your property image anytime and changes are reflected immediately.
