With the tawk.to mobile app, you can answer chats on the go, manage property settings, edit shortcuts and much more. The app is free and you can find it on the Google Play store by searching for tawk.to.

Shortcuts are template responses you can use while chatting with visitors to save time and make sure your responses are accurate and consistent.

To create a new shortcut or manage existing shortcuts on Android, select the hamburger icon in the top right corner to open the menu.

Select Admin from the list to open the property selection menu.

Select the property you'd like to manage the Shortcuts for.

Select Shortcuts.

To add a new Shortcut select the pink + (Plus) in the bottom right corner.

Now you can enter the content for the Shortcut.

Each shortcut is made up of two parts, a Name and a Message. The Name you give it will function as a way to recall it quickly and the Message is the text that will replace the name.

Once you've set up a shortcut you can simply type forward-slash ( / ) followed by the Name of the shortcut while chatting with a visitor and the text will be replaced with the text you add to the Message text box.

Public allows all agents with access to this property to use this shortcut when answering chats while Personal will mean the shortcut can only be used by you.

You can also add a simple survey to the shortcut by switching the Survey Type on. Doing this will add clickable options for the visitor allowing each text box to customize the available responses.

You can also make changes to existing Shortcuts here by selecting them from the list.

This will open a new window showing all of the information on the selected Shortcut.

To edit it, select the pencil icon in the top right corner.

You can now change the name, the message, the access and the type of Shortcut.
