How to purchase tawk.to's Hired Agent Service

If you don’t have the time or staff to monitor live chats, tawk.to’s Hire Live Agents service can help. With this add-on, trained agents respond to your website visitors in real time, ensuring your customers get support even when you’re not available.

Purchasing the add-on

3. Click Add-ons in the top menu.

4. Under Hire Live Agents, click Activate Now.

5. Click Activate Now in the upper-right corner.

6. In the purchase pop-up, click the Select your plan dropdown and choose the plan that best suits your needs.

7. Enter your payment details. Then, check the checkbox to confirm that this service is for English-speaking agents only.
8. Double-check your details. Then, click Activate Now.
Additional considerations
Language support
At the moment, hired agents are only available in English. You will need to confirm this during the signup process.
Subscription billing
The service is billed monthly in USD. Your card will be automatically charged on the same date each month unless you cancel.
Concurrent chat sessions
By default, hired agents can manage up to 2 chats at the same time. If your site has a higher volume of simultaneous chats, you can either allow visitors to join a queue or upgrade your plan for 4+ concurrent chats.
Human agents only
Responses are 100% human-powered, not AI. Like any real team, agents may make mistakes — reviewing chats and sharing feedback helps improve the service.
Add-on applies per property
Each property requires its own subscription. If you want agents on multiple sites, you’ll need to activate the add-on separately for each one.
