Purchasing the Remove Branding add-on

The instructions below are for desktops and laptops only.

The Remove Branding add-on lets you replace “Powered by tawk.to” with your own brand. Once activated, you can white-label the chat widget, chat page, direct chat link, widget popout link, ticketing email footers, and your Knowledge Base. You can also connect your own domain names for those URLs.


Pricing:

  • $348/year (billed annually, $29/month equivalent)

  • $39/month (billed monthly)

Steps to purchase

1. Log in to tawk.to.

2. Select the correct property.

3. Click Add-ons in the top menu.

4. Click Activate Now under Remove Branding.

5. Click Activate Now.

6. In the purchase pop-up, select your plan (annually or monthly), enter your payment details, and click Activate Now.

The add-on activates immediately. You can then open Remove Branding Settings to add domains and customize your branding. See this guide to learn more: Setting up the Remove Branding add-on

Important considerations

  • Property-specific
    The Remove Branding add-on works on a per-property basis. Ensure you’ve selected the right property before completing your purchase.

  • Domains & DNS
    Want to use your own domain for your Chat Page, direct chat link, popout widget, or Knowledge Base? You’ll need to update your DNS settings and add the required CNAME or TXT records.

  • Secure your domain
    For the best experience, we recommend adding HTTPS to your domain. This prevents browser security warnings and helps build trust with your visitors.
