How to add the tawk.to widget to the Plesk Panel

The tawk.to Plesk extension makes it easy to implement the tawk.to chat widget inside the Plesk Panel so customers will be able to reach out to you from their Plesk login.

How to add the tawk.to extension to Plesk

Log in to your Plesk account.


From the Home view in your Plesk dashboard, select Extensions in the left sidebar menu.

From the Extensions catalog, enter "tawk.to" in the search bar.

Click the Get It Free button. Plesk will automatically install the extension in your account.

How to activate the tawk.to widget in Plesk

To activate your tawk.to widget in Plesk, follow these steps:


1. Click the Open button in the tawk.to extension on Plesk.

Then, add a Direct Chat Link from your tawk.to account and click OK. Your details will be saved in your Plesk account and customers will be able to chat with you.

tawk.to account. Log in to your tawk.to Dashboard.


If you have multiple properties, check to make sure you're currently viewing the correct one by hovering over the hamburger icon at the top of the Dashboard.

Go to ⚙️Administration Channels Chat Widget.

Make your way to the Direct Chat Link field and copy the URL.

For Plesk installations, it’s recommended that you place the widget in the center-right position.


To change the widget position, go to ⚙️Administration Channels Chat Widget.


Make your way to Widget Appearance. Then, click Advanced

Select your new placement and click Save to preserve your settings.

Now, your customers will be able to chat with you directly from inside their Plesk accounts via your tawk.to widget.
