How do I change my tawk.to payment method?
tawk.to is completely free and always will be. There’s no limit to the number of agents and sites you can have or the volume of data you can save.
When you subscribe to any of tawk.to’s paid add-on features, such as Whitelabel to change the "Powered by tawk.to" branding or the Hired Chat Agents for $1/hr, you can change your payment method in the Billing area of the Dashboard.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when updating your payment information:
- Currently, we only accept payments via credit card and PayPal.
- If you update your payment method before the start of the next billing cycle, the next billing date will remain the same.
- You will not be charged when updating the payment method between billing cycles.
- We employ a 5-day grace period for failed payments, which allows you to update your payment details while the add-on is kept active.
NOTE: The instructions below can only be completed from a browser or the tawk.to desktop apps. They cannot be completed in the tawk.to mobile app.
Follow these steps to change your payment method:
Note: You must be a property admin to change the payment method.
Make your way to ⚙️Administration by clicking the gear icon in the upper tab menu.
Go to Add-ons ➞ Billing, then do the following:
Under Plan and Billing details, click Modify next to your listed payment method.
Select your payment method: PayPal or Credit Card, and enter your payment details. Then click the Submit button.
Your payment method is now updated.
