Connecting multiple WhatsApp numbers
The instructions below are for desktops and laptops only.
Before you start
Ensure you have the following:
- Admin access to the tawk.to property you want to connect
- A WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) set up through Meta Business Manager
- A phone number registered with the WhatsApp Business API
Important: WhatsApp Business App and tawk.to compatibility
tawk.to does not support WhatsApp Coexistence.
You cannot use the WhatsApp Business App and tawk.to simultaneously on the same phone number. To connect your number, it must be fully disconnected from any other app first.

- You must fully migrate the number to tawk.to
- Running both platforms in parallel is not supported
- The connection will only work once the number is no longer active elsewhere
Steps to connect multiple WhatsApp numbers

2. Click Administration in the left navigation bar.

3. Click Integrations in the left submenu.

4. Select Messaging. Then, click WhatsApp.

5. Click Settings.

6. Click WhatsApp Numbers, then click + Connect to add a new number.

7. In the pop-up window, log in to your business Facebook account. Then, grant tawk.to Omnichannel Inbox WA permission to access your WhatsApp chats.

8 Follow the instructions to
- Select your Business Manager account.
- Verify your chosen phone number (via SMS or voice call).
9. After verification, the connection is complete and your new WhatsApp channel will appear in your tawk.to Inbox.

Repeat the above steps to add other WhatsApp Business accounts and phone numbers to your tawk.to property.
