Updating WhatsApp settings
The instructions below are for desktops and laptops only.
Click Administration in the left navigation bar.
Click Integrations in the left submenu.
On the Integrations page, select the Messaging tab. Then, click WhatsApp.
Click Settings. Your connected WhatsApp numbers are listed under WhatsApp Numbers.
Click the 3 dots for the WhatsApp number you want to update. Then, select Edit.
On the WhatsApp number settings page, you can edit the following fields:
- Address (up to 256 characters)- Websites (up to 2 website URLs, 256 characters each)
- Business Description (up to 512 characters)
- Business Email (up to 128 characters)
- About (up to 139 characters)
Inbox Name, Phone Number, WABA Account, and Business Image are read-only and must be changed in Meta Business Manager.
Click Save.
Click the 3 dots for the WhatsApp number you want to disconnect. Then, select Disconnect and confirm your choice in the confirmation pop-up.
Disconnected WhatsApp numbers appear as Disconnected in the Status column.
To re-connect a disconnected number, click the 3 dots, select Connect, and follow the instructions.
