Add live chat to your Webflow site

[Desktop]

You can use the widget code to integrate tawk.to with your Webflow website. In this article, we’ll show you how to add a widget to an individual page or make your widget appear on every page of your site.

Note: You will need a paid plan to add custom code to your Webflow site.

Copy your Widget Code

To add the tawk.to widget to a Webflow website, you’ll first need to find and copy your widget code.

Log in to your tawk.to account and make your way to ⚙️Administration Channels Chat Widget.

Then, copy the </> Widget Code to your clipboard.

Add the widget to a single page of your Webflow website

Log in to your Webflow Workspace and select a website.

From the editing panel, select the Pages icon in the left tab menu.

In the list of pages, click the gear icon (Edit page settings) for the page on which you will add the widget.

Scroll down to the Custom Code settings in the left editing panel and paste your widget code into the Before </body> tag field.

Then, click the Save button in the upper right of the panel.

Select Publish in the upper right to update your changes.

Add the widget to all pages of your Webflow site

If you would like visitors to see the widget on every page or your Webflow site, hover over the W in the upper-left corner of the Webflow editing panel to view more options.

Click the hamburger menu that appears. Then, select Project Settings.

In the Panel Settings menu, select Custom Code.

Scroll down to the Footer Code section and paste your widget code into the field.

Then, click the Save Changes button above the field.

Hit the Publish button in the upper-right corner of the page to update your changes throughout your site.

Now, visitors to your site will be able to view your widget, reach out for help, and access resources on every page of your site.

By default, the widget will appear on all the domains and URLs where the code has been inserted. If you would like your widget to appear on all but a few pages on your site, you can use the Domain Restriction feature in your tawk.to account to block the widget on specific pages.
