Add a tawk.to widget to Webflow

The instructions below are for desktops and laptops only.

You can easily add the tawk.to live chat widget to your Webflow site by copying your widget embed code and pasting it into your site’s custom code settings.

First, get your widget code

1. Log in to your tawk.to account.


2. Select the correct property.

3. Click Administration on the top menu.

4. Click Chat Widget under Channels in the left menu.

5. Copy the Widget Code.

Add the widget code to your Webflow site

Note: Adding custom code in Webflow is only available on paid plans. If you're using a free Webflow plan, you’ll need to upgrade to unlock this feature.


1. Log in to your Webflow account.


2. Click the three dots next to your site name and select Settings.

3. In the left menu, click Custom Code.

4. In the Footer Code section, paste the widget code you copied from tawk.to.

5. Scroll down and click Save Changes.


6. Publish your site for the changes to take effect.


Once your site is published, the chat widget will appear on all pages of your Webflow site.

Additional considerations

  • Widget restrictions
    To control where the widget appears, use the Availability Restriction settings.
