Connecting multiple Facebook accounts to a property

The instructions below are for desktops and laptops only.

You can connect multiple Facebook Business accounts to tawk.to, and manage all your Facebook Messenger conversations from a single, centralized location.


Follow these steps to connect your Facebook business accounts:

1. Log in to your tawk.to account.


2. On your dashboard, select the property for which you want to set this up. Hover over the property name to ensure you’ve selected the correct one.

3. Click Inbox on the top menu.

4. Click + Connect on the left menu.

5. On the Select Channel page, click Connect under Facebook Messenger.

6. In the pop-up window, log in to your business Facebook account, grant tawk.to Omnichannel Inbox permission to access your Messenger chats, and follow the instructions to complete the connection.

You can choose to connect all your accounts or specific accounts only. To connect all your Facebook business accounts, select Opt in to all current and future businesses on the following page:
To connect selected businesses only, select Opt in to current businesses only, and choose the accounts you want to connect:
After making your selection, click Continue and complete the rest of the process.
After a successful connection
Once the connection is successful, your newly connected Facebook accounts appear in your inbox’s left menu, below Chats and Tickets.
Once a Facebook account is connected to one property, it cannot be connected to another. Connected Facebook accounts are labeled as Connected to another property, like this:
