Shared Drafts: reply to a conversation together

1. Open a conversation that more than one teammate can reply to.
2. Start typing a reply, the same way you always have.
3. If a teammate opens the same conversation and starts typing too, you're both now editing the same draft - there's only ever one reply in progress per conversation, so nobody sends a duplicate.
4. Keep typing. You'll see exactly where your teammate is typing, with their name attached to their cursor, and everyone's changes merge live - nothing is overwritten, even if you type at the same moment.
5. Send the reply when it's ready. Any teammate can send it.

• A credit line appears on the sent reply, showing who worked on it - for example, "Ada and Marcus have worked on this reply."

• Shared recipients and attachments, where the channel has them - for Email, To/Cc/Bcc and any attached files are shared the same way the reply text is; add one and your teammate sees it instantly.
• If a teammate sends or discards the draft, you're told immediately, so the conversation never changes under you without warning.
• Starting a brand-new outbound message works the same way - from the moment you start typing, it's a shared draft a teammate can join before you send it.

On Email specifically - two things are Email-only today:

• Two checks before sending - confirm if a teammate is still typing, or the customer just replied.
• Cancel a send - a short window to pull it back after hitting Send. Stay on the page until it finishes - closing early can mean it doesn't go out.

Discarding a shared draft — works exactly as it already does, on every channel: permanent for everyone.
