Using AI Assist's Re-crawl feature

Want to keep AI Assist up-to-date on your products, services, and website content? The secret lies in the “Re-crawl” feature. This simple step ensures AI Assist has the latest information about your business and will always deliver accurate responses to customers.

This guide will show you how to get AI Assist to re-crawl your website, empowering it to deliver the best possible customer experiences.

Note: This feature is only available with the Growth, Business, and Enterprise plans.

Follow these steps to enable the re-crawl feature:

1. Log in to your tawk.to account, and select the correct property.

2. Click Automation in the left navigation bar.

3. Click Data Sources in the left submenu. Then, click Website.

4. Click Auto Update Schedule.

5. On the Auto Schedule Update page, you can set your AI agent’s re-crawl schedule. Select the Timezone, Hour, and Day.

Note: Set the schedule based on your plan’s allowance. Re-crawls aren’t available with the Hobby Plan.

Growth Plan: AI Assist will re-crawl once daily.
Business Plan: AI Assist will re-crawl every 12 hours.
Enterprise Plan: AI Assist will re-crawl every hour.

6. You can choose to enable/disable Override Manual Edits.

If this is enabled, AI Assist will override any manual edits to the web pages’ text. If it’s disabled, AI Assist will prioritize these edits.

7. Double-check your settings and click Save.

By enabling the re-crawl feature and keeping AI Assist in the loop, you’re empowering AI Assist to provide better customer support with more accurate responses.
